All students with under 60 earned credit hours are matched with a CAS advisor who will help you select and plan a major, register for classes, practice successful academic habits, and find the campus resources to ensure you make the most of your SSU experience. Advisors are located in Whiting Hall; they are also available by phone and Skype for off-campus students, including evening hours Monday through Thursday. CAS Tutorial Center
The Center for Academic Success provides free tutoring in a variety of subjects (both in the core curriculum and in selected upper-level classes) in the Tutorial Center, located in Whiting Hall, Room 128. Students can make an appointment in advance or see a tutor on a walk-in basis or by Skype (based on availability) with evening hours Monday through Thursday.
